Thank you for your interest in taking up one of the Qhubeka entries for the 2018 Absa Cape Epic.
This is a tough event, for tough people with brave hearts and the ability to reach their dreams.
Qhubeka is a non-profit organisation dealing with a tough situation in South Africa – 12 million children walk for more than two hours each day to get to school. With a bicycle, all that changes. With a bicycle, a child’s commute time is cut by 75% providing more time for them to focus on what really matters: achieving their dreams.
Help us to mobilise more people in South Africa so that they like you, can achieve their personal best one day.
What’s it worth to you? To us it could be worth R1 million. That’s five teams fundraising R200 000 each to deliver 350 bicycles in a programme that will create access to education, job opportunities and /or healthcare.
In order to qualify for one of our entries, you must be able to commit 100% to paying the minimum amount, which is equal to that of the entry fee i.e. R75 000. In other words, we are asking you to pay the entry fee of R75 000 (which we pay over in full to the organisers) AND to fundraise a targeted amount of 70 bicycles (R200 000) per team (or at least the minimum amount of R75 000 over and above the R75 000 required as the entry fee).

You will need to make a 100% payment of the entry fee within 14 days of us accepting your application and send a copy of the proof of payment to info@qhubeka.org.
