Awhile back, we wrote about how Matt Brammeier and Nathan Haas, professional cyclists for Team Dimension Data for Qhubeka, had announced the inaugural Girona Gala, with Qhubeka as the charity beneficiary of the event this year. Well, the gala took place on Saturday 22 October, and was a great success!
“We we’re all totally overwhelmed and blown away by the support from you all leading up to Saturday, and of course on the evening itself,” Matt writes. “With all of your help, we managed to raise around €8 000 for our chosen charity, Qhubeka.”
That’s enough to fund 42 new Qhubeka bicycles! Wow. Thank you, Matt, Nathan and supporters!
