Qhubeka announced as an official ABSA Cape Epic Charity Partner

The gruelling ABSA Cape Epic, the Untamed African MTB Race, is also known as the “Tour de France of mountain biking” and is arguably South Africa’s toughest race. Held over eight days (including a time-trial prologue) and approximately 800km, the route changes every year, winding through the scenic Western Cape with roughly 15 000m of climbing over some of the most magnificent passes in South Africa.

Qhubeka is thrilled to have been selected as one of the three official charity partners of the ABSA Cape Epic for 2014. This means that we have race entries available f0r those brave enough to consider tackling the Epic to raise funds for Qhubeka from 23 to 30 March next year. If you’d like find out more about purchasing an entry and helping us to mobilise more people on bicycles by doing so, email Raeleen@qhubeka.org.

If you’d like to see what challenges are in store for Epic riders, check out next year’s route.
