Qhubeka Buffalo Bicycles used to fight rhino poaching

As many people know, rhinos are under threat because of the demand for their horns, which means they are targeted by poachers.  Thanks to 7-year-old Baden’s “Bikes 4 Rhinos” fundraising efforts, 15 Buffalo Bicycles were distributed to the park rangers in the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park to help protect the rhinos that live there.

Baden is a 7-year-old boy from the USA who raised money for 15 Qhubeka Buffalo Bicycles to help fight rhino poaching. His donation to World Bicycle Relief will enable rangers to cover more ground in a shorter space of time as they patrol the park to guard against poachers. Qhubeka is World Bicycle Relief’s programme in South Africa and we’re proud to see the rangers riding their new yellow Qhubeka Buffalo Bicycles, especially knowing that they were donated by such a an inspiring young activist.
