The Cycle Tour is one of South Africa’s favourites races and draws cyclists from around the country, as well as from further afield. This year, for the first time, you can ride with Qhubeka. By choosing to ride for Qhubeka and raise funds for us, you can help us to mobilise more communities with bicycles. Combine your passion with our cause and help us to put at least 250 Qhubeka Buffalo Bicycles into rural communities.
Here’s how you can ride with us:
Option 1: I do not have an entry into the event yet
Follow this link , complete all the required entry fields and make payment of R3550 (or more if you’d like). This covers the following:
- Race entry fee
- Race office admin fee
- The price of one Qhubeka Buffalo Bicycle, helmet, lock, pump and bicycle tool for a deserving member of the community, valued at R2000
- A quality cycling jersey
- Attendance at the Qhubeka pre-event function to be held in Cape Town
- Excludes merchandise and timing chip
Option 2: I have already entered the event
If you have already entered the event but now want to ride for Qhubeka, please visit the Qhubeka GivenGain page and make your deposit of R3 000 (or more if you like) to qualify as a Qhubeka rider. This donation includes:
- Race office admin fee
- The price of one Qhubeka Buffalo Bicycle, helmet, lock, pump and bicycle tool for a deserving member of the community, valued at R2000
- A quality Qhubeka cycling jersey
- Attendance at the Qhubeka pre-race event function to be held in Cape Town
As soon as we receive your payment we will contact you to confirm your race entry details before we submit these on your behalf to the Cycle Tour Office.
