This Father’s Day, instead of giving your dad the same old socks, tie and slippers why not make a donation to Qhubeka? We will use your donations to help train a bicycle mechanic.

For every 500 bicycles we distribute in a community, Qhubeka trains three bicycle mechanics. They receive certificates upon successful completion of training, as well as the tools and materials the need to repair bicycles. Through this opportunity they gain the means to generate an income for themselves and their families by providing mechanic services to the community that is now mobilised with bicycles.

It costs us R20 000 to train and equip a mechanic with the tools he needs. This Father’s Day, why not:

Donate the slippers: R300.00
Donate your inheritance: R2000.00 or more

Once you’ve donated, we will send you an electronic gift card to print out and give to your dad, explaining how he has given another man the tools to grow.
