We love that our Qhubeka supporters are starting their own fundraising campaigns on GivenGain to help us to mobilise more people with bicycles! There are some really creative campaigns brewing. For example, Ficus Coaching is seeking to raise as much money for Qhubeka as possible and is offering an incentive for people to support them by running a competition:

For every R100 you donate, you will receive an entry into the draw to win a weekend at Raptor Retreat Lodge near Phalaborwa. The prize includes:
- Two nights for two people in one luxury room
- Breakfast, high tea and dinner daily
- One complimentary game drive per person
- A bottle of red wine and chocolates on arrival
This is what Ficus Coaching says about the Qhubeka fundraising campaign:
“A 4-hour trip by car is a holiday destination for us… For a child out there, it is a daily walk to school. Every R2 600 raised will give a child a bicycle to make that trip faster. This will allow him to sleep longer, carry more, perform better and in return clean up and care for his environment. Take action now and let’s get as many bicycles out there as possible!”
