Absa Cape Epic - Devonbosch for Qhubeka

Team Devonbosch for Qhubeka is a fundraising initiative by a group of Belgian cyclists. Raising funds towards Qhubeka’s Scholar Mobility Programme, as part of their build up to taking part in the 2024 Absa Cape Epic.

The riders obtained generous sponsorship from Devonbosch, a sustainable development in Stellenbosch offering a blend of residential, lifestyle and business opportunity.

In addition, fundraising events in 2023, included braai’s, wine sales and an incredible indoor track cycling event. Funds have continued to flow in from their network of friends, colleagues, and family in 2024.

We are delighted to have the support of these committed cyclists once again, pulling out all the stops to raise funds since 2016, to programme bicycles into deserving rural communities in South Africa.

Les Moustaches ride for Qhubeka

It all started with an idea during a triathlon trainings camp in Mallorca. While having a beer and joking around Ronnie and two friends decided to cut a Moustache over night and be “Les Moustaches” for the rest of the week. Being back in Switzerland “Les Moustaches” initiated a charity ride for Qhubeka. The aim was to grow a moustache, meet great people, have an easy ride and gather some money for a good cause.

2023 was the 5th edition of the Les Moustaches ride for Qhubeka.
